The Rapid Operational Validation Initiative (ROVI) program for Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) will take advantage of the new DOE investment in the Grid Storage Launch Pad at PNNL.  This world-class facility has been developed to speed technical development in LDES systems in support of the requirements of the future electrical grid.
