Dr. Marc Zoellner was born in 1966 in Cologne/Germany, lives in Brilon/Germany, is married and has three sons.
After his studies in Economics and Business Administration in Bonn and Cologne, he graduated from the University of Cologne, degree PhD.
From 1994 to 1998 he worked for Linde AG, a leading German industrial group, in different positions. 1994 he started at HOPPECKE, the largest producer of industrial battery systems in European ownership, as Head of Motive Power Business. In 2003 he was appointed CEO of the HOPPECKE Group.
Since 2003 Dr. Marc Zoellner is member of the regional board of the Economic Council of the German Conservative Party (CDU) and since 2005 also a member of its federal board.
HOPPECKE is a long standing EUROBAT member and Dr. Marc Zoellner serves the board for more than 20 years. In 2019 he was elected EUROBAT President.
Dr. Marc Zoellner is Rotarian and non-executive board member in a couple of companies.
