Where will the BCI Convention + Power Mart Expo be held?

We are thrilled to announce that the event will be held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, California – located in beautiful downtown, along the San Diego Bay, and minutes from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). The hotel is within walking distance to the San Diego Padres’ PETCO Park and the vibrant Gaslamp Quarter boasting world-class shopping and dining.

The hotel is also convenient to dozens of sightseeing and recreational opportunities, including championship golf courses, miles of glorious beaches, the world-famous San Diego Zoo and more.

Registration Information

When will registration launch?

Registration for the BCI Convention + Power Mart Expo is now open! Register today.

I elected to rollover my 2020 registration to 2021. Do I need to re-register?

You will not need to re-register for the 2021 Convention if you elected to rollover your registration. The BCI registration team will register all paid, transferred attendees (including spouses) from the 2020 Convention. You will receive a notification once your registration has been processed. No complimentary attendees from the 2020 Convention will be automatically transferred. If you cannot attend the 2021 Convention and Power Mart Expo, the BCI registration team will transfer your registration to a substituted colleague of your designation.

What is the policy if I want or need to change my registration?

We want to assure you that you can secure your place at the BCI Convention + Power Mart Expo, knowing that your investment won’t be lost should your in-person attendance no longer be possible.

As we are all facing uncertainty due to COVID-19, we will offer a no-fee cancellation option until July 15, 2021.

In addition, should pandemic circumstances or local restrictions on gatherings/travel be imposed and the in-person BCI Convention + Power Mart Expo is affect, we will contact you with an update on your registration options.

If you elect to cancel your registration after July 15, 2021, the below cancellation fees and options will be assessed.

Cancellation and Refunds

All cancellation and refund requests must be made via email to info@batterycouncil.org. Cancellation requests will be honored according to the following schedule:

  • On or before July 15, 2021: Full refund
  • July 16 – August 23, 2021: Full refund, less a $100 processing fee
  • After August 23, 2021: No refund

If you are unable to attend the event‚ you may designate a substitute from your company to fill your spot. The registration fee will be adjusted based on the substitute’s BCI member status. Substitution requests must be made via email to info@batterycouncil.org no later than August 23, 2021. There are no refunds for no-shows. Any requests for refunds of room reservations must be made directly with the hotel.

Exhibits and Sponsorship

I had my exhibitor and sponsorship status rolled over from 2020 to 2021. Do I need to re-submit a contract?
